No. The card only works when tapped on a parent's phone running the KoalaCash app. It has no connection to any payment network.

Never. KoalaCash uses a completely virtual currency that only exists within your family's app.
Is this like GoHenry?
GoHenry uses real money and a real Mastercard. KoalaCash is a virtual system, so think of it as a high-tech sticker chart, not a bank account.
What age is this for?
KoalaCash is designed for ages 7 to 12, before children are ready for real money apps.
What is the waitlist?
The waitlist is how families register early interest before launch. Join with your email and we'll let you know the moment KoalaCash is ready, along with any founding member perks.
Who controls what my child can spend on?
You do, completely. Parents set the chores, approve rewards, and control the virtual balance. Nothing happens without your say-so.
Is there any real money loaded onto the card?
No. The card carries no balance of real money and cannot be topped up with cash. It is purely a tap trigger for the virtual balance inside your family app.
What do founding members get?
